पुराने जन्म प्रमाण पत्र में आधार कार्ड नंबर जोड़ने के लिए दस्तावेजों में नाम की स्पेलिंग एक जैसी होना जरूरी
To add Aadhaar card number to the old birth certificate, the name spelling must be the same in the documents.
राजस्थान सरकार ने डिजिटल सेवाओं को सरल बनाते हुए ‘पहचान पोर्टल’ में एक अपडेट किया है। इसके तहत राज्य के नागरिक अपने पुराने बने हुए जन्म और मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्रों में भी अपना आधार नंबर लिंक करवा सकेंगे।
The Rajasthan government has simplified digital services with an update to its “Pahchan Portal.” Under this update, state citizens will be able to link their Aadhaar number to their existing birth and death certificates.

यह सुविधा उन लोगों के लिए बड़ी राहत लेकर आई है, जिनका पंजीकरण वर्षों पहले बिना आधार कार्ड के हुआ था।
This facility has brought great relief to those people who were registered years ago without Aadhaar card.
3 आसान स्टेप्स में होगा अपडेट
पोर्टल पर इस प्रक्रिया को बेहद सरल रखा गया है। नागरिक केवल तीन मुख्य चरणों में अपना आधार जोड़ सकते हैं। सबसे पहले ‘पहचान पोर्टल’ पर जाकर अपना पुराना पंजीकरण रिकॉर्ड खोजना होगा। रिकॉर्ड मिलने के बाद, उसमें पहले से मौजूद किसी सदस्य (जैसे आवेदक, माता या पिता) का बायोमेट्रिक या ओटीपी के जरिए सत्यापन किया जाएगा।
The portal has kept the process extremely simple. Citizens can add their Aadhaar in just three key steps. First, they need to search their Aadhaar registration record on the ‘Pahagan Portal’. Once the record is found, any existing members (such as the applicant, mother, or father) will be verified via biometrics or OTP.
वेरिफिकेशन सफल होने पर उन सदस्यों का नया आधार नंबर जोड़ा जा सकेगा, जिनका विवरण पहले दर्ज नहीं था। प्रक्रिया पूरी होते ही स्क्रीन पर सफलता का मैसेज आ जाएगा।
Upon successful verification, new Aadhaar numbers will be added for members whose details were not previously entered. A success message will appear on the screen once the process is complete.
नाम का मिलान होना जरूरी
इस सुविधा का लाभ लेने के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण शर्त है। की पंजीकरण (Birth/Death Certificate) में दर्ज व्यक्ति का नाम और आधार कार्ड में दर्ज नाम की स्पेलिंग बिल्कुल एक समान होनी चाहिए। यदि नाम में एक अक्षर का भी अंतर है, तो आधार लिंक नहीं हो पाएगा। ऐसी स्थिति में पहले आधार कार्ड या पुराने रिकॉर्ड में सुधार करवाना अनिवार्य होगा।
There is an important condition for taking advantage of this facility. The name of the person registered in the birth/death certificate must be spelled exactly the same as the name on the Aadhaar card. If there is even a single letter difference in the name, Aadhaar linking will not be possible. In such a situation, it will be mandatory to first make corrections to the Aadhaar card or old records.
डिजिटल सिग्नेचर के बाद ही मान्य होगा अपडेट
इस पूरी प्रक्रिया में सुरक्षा का पूरा ध्यान रखा गया है। एक बार में केवल एक ही सदस्य का आधार जोड़ा जा सकता है। सभी स्टेप्स पूरे होने के बाद, संबंधित रजिस्ट्रार द्वारा डिजिटल सिग्नेचर (E-Sign) किया जाएगा। इसके बाद ही प्रमाण पत्र में आधार अपडेट की प्रक्रिया को पूर्ण माना जाएगा।
This entire process is strictly security-conscious. Only one member’s Aadhaar can be added at a time. After all steps are completed, the relevant registrar will digitally sign (e-sign) the Aadhaar. Only then will the certificate’s Aadhaar update process be considered complete.
सरकारी योजनाओं के लिए जरूरी
सरकारी योजनाएं जैसे पेंशन, बीमा और छात्रवृत्ति जैसी योजनाओं में अब आधार लिंक प्रमाण पत्र जरूरी हो गए हैं। इससे डेटा सुरक्षित रहेगा और फर्जीवाड़े की गुंजाइश खत्म होगी। इसी तरह बार-बार भौतिक सत्यापन (Physical Verification) की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी।
Aadhaar-linked certificates are now mandatory for government schemes such as pensions, insurance, and scholarships. This will ensure data security and eliminate the possibility of fraud. Similarly, there will be no need for repeated physical verification.
